My husband and I stayed at the Kimpton Lorien Hotel and Spa a couple of years ago. It was FABULOUS! We loved every second of it. The room was decorated in ice blue tones, which was unique-most hotels go for warmer golds and reds. I found the blue soothing. The bed was uber comfy and they even had nice freebies like chocolate (real stuff, not hershey's), an ipod you could borrow for the night, and different types of pillow (one filled with buckwheat even!).
